Can anybody tell me why I can hear fireworks going off on what seems like most evenings? Is it me or is there a flipping fireworks factory here or what?
.... I too hear fireworks going off... were in the Lowtown area, not sure what the celebration is. Perhaps it is a test to see if we can hear anything above the mighty roar of 50cc mopeds that seems to fill the summer evening air.
Can you buy fireworks all the year now???.... don't get me wrong, I love a good firework display... went to see Roy Wood in concert in Bingley Myrtle Park and it finished with a great display put on by Bradford Council..... just magic!
Seriously, it seems to me that there are fireworks going off every other night in Pudsey. Next time I hear them I will get in my car and investigate. I wll let you know what I find. Often they seem to be going off from the direction of those big houses up near the Bankhouse pub. What goes on?
