New Sports Centre

Heres something that i hope will get the community going.  Crawshaw School opened a new sports centre on site in March 2004.  I would like to take this opportunity, as the Sports Centre Manager, to let the people of Pudsey (and those towns local to ourselves) know about the centre.  The 'Sir Leonard Hutton Sports Centre', that is open all year round, boasts a state-of-the-art sports hall, exclusive changing facilities, sports fields and in May 2005 an all new astro-turf pitch.  There is an Air Conditioned Room that is also available for hire (weekends and School Holidays) and as a centre we run Bouncy Castle Parties, Football Parties, Aerobics Classes and Badminton.  If you would like any details on hiring the hall, and also on the activities that the centre operates, then please call the Centre on 0113 2248560 or e-mail myself at dickhg01@leedslearning.net.   Thank you.

It sounds really good..... puts Grangefield in the shade, just hope some thought has been given to parking which at Grangefield is chaos when there is an event on.

Strange I had not heard of the facility as it has been open since March. Hope visitors to these pages will spread the word.

We have 50 parking spaces around the Sports Centre and there is also plenty of parking a little further up aswell.

Public are more than welcome to come and have a look around the centre.  Drop by or call (2248560) in advance of your visit to ensure someone is available to show you round.  I hope the Pudsey Community will benefit from the centre and participate in the likes of Badminton and Aerobics (classes due to start early January).  The Centre also run childrens parties, so to all those mums out there who don't want 20 children running around there house, why not consider a bouncy castle or football party ?

Regards Helen Dick
